Child Privacy & Safeguarding

Last updated: 3 August 2026

Our approach

DrawnByUs is an adult-managed shop that celebrates original artwork created by a child. We aim to protect the child artist’s privacy, dignity and safety while sharing the stories behind the artwork.

Adult management

The website, shop, customer service, payments and public communications are managed by an adult. Children are not responsible for orders, customer enquiries or business decisions.

Information we do not publish

We do not intentionally publish a child’s full legal name, date of birth, exact age, school, home address, regular routine or real-time location. Stories may be edited to remove details that could identify a child’s school, home or daily movements.

Photos and videos

Any image or video of a child is reviewed by the responsible adult before publication and, where appropriate, discussed with the child. We avoid visible school details, addresses and location metadata. Published material is reviewed periodically and may be removed if it is no longer appropriate. Please remember that material shared online may be copied or reshared by others outside our control.

Children using this site

This shop is intended for adults. A person under 18 should not place an order, subscribe to marketing, submit personal information or contact us without the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not invite children to send us artwork, photographs, private messages or personal details.

Artwork and commercial use

The shop keeps private records covering authorship, guardian approval and permission for the commercial use of each artwork. Copyright and moral rights remain subject to the documented arrangements for the individual work. Artwork and site content may not be copied or reused without permission.

Privacy or safeguarding concerns

If you believe that any page, photograph, video or story reveals inappropriate information about a child, please contact the adult shop operator at contact@support.drawnbyus.com. We will review the concern and take proportionate action, including removing or editing material where appropriate.
